Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)

Whether you are an OTA or an aspiring OT, our MOT program fast-tracks your path to becoming a licensed occupational therapist. Prepare to make a meaningful impact in areas like children and youth, rehabilitation, mental health and more.

The USAHS MOT program is available in three formats: 

Residential MOT 

  • In-person coursework and immersive weekday lab experiences held on campus, complemented by online learning

Hybrid Immersion MOT 

  • Online coursework, live weekday sessions held virtually and two immersive in-person lab experiences per term held on campus over extended weekends

Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) 

The OTD curriculum combines coursework from our MOT program with additional coursework focused on leadership, advocacy and policymaking, along with a capstone project on your OT area of interest. 

 

With an OTD, you work in expanded roles in: 

  • Leadership Administration 

     

  • Research 

     

  • Advocacy and policy development 

     

  • OT education 

     

  • Theory development

The USAHS OTD program is available in three formats:

The USAHS PPOTD program is a 100% online, flexible option designed for OT practitioners looking to advance their careers in leadership, research, advocacy and higher education. With an innovative curriculum tailored for busy professionals, this distance-learning program allows you to balance your studies with work and life commitments.

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) is a graduate institution that offers degree programs in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, graduate nursing, healthcare education, as well as continuing education programs.

 

Founded in 1979, USAHS has locations in San Marcos, California; St. Augustine, Florida; Miami, Florida; Austin, Texas; and Dallas, Texas.
