Why University of St. Augustine for your Graduate Degree?

The University of St. Augustine offers two options for students pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Students can choose the traditional campus experience at one of our campuses in San Marcos CA, St. Augustine FL, Miami FL, and Austin TX, or they can opt for our Flex option which allows them to complete coursework online, from home, with weekend labs on campus.

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) is a graduate institution that offers degree programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, education and health science, as well as continuing education programs.

About the University

1To qualify for the MHA tuition reduction, a candidate must complete all application requirements for the MHA and be accepted to the program. This tuition reduction is applied for the life of the program as long as the student remains in good academic standing and completes the minimum academic credits per term. We have three start dates each year, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs (DPT)

– choose from residential or flex (weekends and online) options

Full-Time DPT

We offer the DPT as a first professional degree to candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree and the required prerequisite courses. The full-time DPT program takes 8 trimesters. The DPT degree prepares you for the national licensure exam necessary to practice Physical Therapy.

Flex DPT

Our Flex distance program is ideal for those who are working full-time. The Flex DPT program takes 12 trimesters.
